Summer of 2009

Well as you can see our summer is revolving around baseball games! We have had a lot of fun so far watching the boys play! Cadeor's team was the Reds this year and he did a great job! He seems to think that "lefties" are the bomb! He wants to be a switch hitter and can actually hit good both ways! He played catcher which he says is not his favorite position and played all different positions in the field! He had a great coach and really enjoyed his season! Trevor's team is the Marlins. They had a really rough start but ended up 4th in the league and even beat the undefeated team! Larry was very proud of them! Taylor was one of the assistant coaches and filled in when Larry had to be gone. Taylor has now started summer ball with the high school and has about 20 games in a month and a half! Trevor had a Birthday and turned "14" years old! We love you Trevor!! Skyler is working hard at the shop and is such a great help to Larry! They make a great team! Cadeor has a big birthday coming up on July 31st. He will be turning "8" years old and getting baptized! He is way excited! I wish it wasn't so crazy and that I had time to lay by the pool, but I'm sure it will go by fast so I better enjoy it!
As you can see by the pictures,my boys decided to bleach their hair! It is only hair right?! I think
I am used to it by now! We don't have any big plans for the rest of the summer just to get out and go camping and 4 wheeling any time we can!

I know, it is about time! Just a little update about the fam! Taylor just had Senior Ball and had a great time! he had me take their group and individual pictures for them so we went to Sunbrook on the old bridge and I think they turned out pretty cute! It helps when you have some cute couples to work with! They were so fun to do for them I hope they ask me again! Baseball is into full swing now. We have at least 3 games a week and sometimes 7 games a week to go to! Taylor's team is undefeated this year and he has had a great time and had some great games! Trev's team is struggling this year, hopefully they will get better! It makes for loooong games to sit through. Cade is having a great time playing peewee machine pitch and doing a good job! He has caught some pop flies that surprised him and us! The look on his face was priceless though! I wish it could stay like this forever! I have been subbing a lot at the school which I enjoy and Larry and Skyler have been selling and taking care of the shop. Skyler is doing a great job selling a helping Larry at the shop. They are quite a team! School is almost over and summer is on it's way! Yea, Sunshine! Can't wait until the pool is warm!

Happy Birthday to my two Guys!

I just wanted to wish my Sweet Husband a Happy birthday!!! I Love him so much and can't even imagine my life without him! He is such a hard worker and an Awesome Dad! We have been married almost 20 years in April and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat and am looking forward to many more! I love you Larry! I tried to make him his favorite Strawberry cake that his mom makes to good, but as usual it turned out to be a goopy mess! It still tastes good, it just looks bad! Maybe next time!
Also, a Happy Birthday Shout out to my T.C. on the 17th!!! It is his Sweet 16! I can hardly believe he is that old! He is such an Awesome Son! We are so proud of him and what a great young man he is! He is not even going to be here to celebrate with us! Him and Trevor are on a scout camp out up at Brian Head and get to go snow shoeing! Sounds fun to me! (not really!) I Love you Tay!

Merry Christmas from the Cox's!

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows how grateful we are at this Christmas Time! We have so many things to be thankful for, family, friends, a house, food, clothes....the way things are with the economy these days, so many people don't even have these things that we seem to always take for granted. We were so luck to get to go up to Idaho for Thanksgiving this year and spend it with some of Larry's family! I don't think we have spent Thanksgiving there for probably 10 years! Larry's sister Linda and her daughter Ronna and her husband Rob came and spent it with us also. Thank you for coming! It was quite the looooong road trip for the boys though! Now I remember why we don't do it very often! They are getting so big that we don't all fit very well in a Denali! With 6 people and 2 dogs I felt like if someone opened the door we would "pop" right out! We made it though and had a great time! We also stopped on the way home in Ogden and celebrated Whitlee's 1st birthday with her! December 2nd! She is such a cutie! She is definitely a little princess among all our boys! We love you Whitlee Jo! We will be spending Christmas here in St. George and hopefully Larry's parents will come and spend it with us! We hope that everyone has a Great Holiday Season!

1980 Something?

Taylor found some of Larry's PE clothes that he wore in highschool and was wearing them around the house! It was such a crack up that I had to take a picture of him! Then I did a scrapbook page titled "FLASHBACK"! I think he looks pretty cute, and he definitely looks a lot like Larry did when he was that age!

Summer 2008

It has been a GREAT summer!! We have been able to go camping and spend time with our family and watch the boys play some baseball and just hang out! Now that school has started, life is sort of back to normal. Both Tay and Trev have football practice and a game a week. Taylor sprained his wrist bad and couldn't play in his first or second game. So he is REALLY ready to play! Sky is home from Ogden and is going to Dixie State College and working for his Dad at the car lot. He seems to really like school and is doing good so far! We will keep our fingers crossed! A few weeks ago, Cade had to have 4 baby teeth pulled! He did so good! As you can see, they were pretty nasty looking! The Tooth Fairy gave him 5 bucks for them! I think I need to put some of my teeth under the pillow for some spending money! He is really liking 1st grade and is doing well with his school work. He is a good reader and math comes very easy to him. I hope he can keep it up! We went camping over Labor Day up to Pine Lake again. We had a blast! Hailee, Jerome and Whitlee Jo and Grandma and Grandpa Brown came with us too! We got to stay for 4 days! The weather was so nice, although it did rain a couple of days. It was great because it settled the dust! We had Yummy food, probably gained 10 lbs. Then it was back to reality! We didn't want to come home!
